Methodology: monthly deposits (your 30% + government's 30% matching) are compounded monthly at the interest rate you set above, matching the officially published contribution structure. This is a simplified illustration, not the exact PCDA compounding convention — treat it as a ballpark, not your final figure.

Frequently asked

Quick answers

How is Seva Nidhi calculated?

Each month, 30% of your Agniveer package goes into an individual Agniveer Corpus Fund, matched equally by the government. The combined amount earns PPF-equivalent interest over your tenure. At exit, you get the full accumulated corpus — tax-free, with no gratuity or pension attached.

Is this calculator official?

No. It's an independent, illustrative estimate based on the officially published contribution structure and an interest rate you control. Your exact payout depends on your actual pay records and PCDA's precise compounding convention — confirm your final figure through your unit's records section.

Do all Agniveers get Seva Nidhi?

No — only those who complete 4 years and aren't retained. Roughly 25% of each batch is retained for a full career and moves to regular terms of engagement instead of receiving this exit payout.

Source & accuracy

Contribution structure (30% employee / 30% government matching, PPF-equivalent interest, tax-free, no gratuity/pension) is drawn from official Terms & Conditions published by the Services' recruitment portals — see Agniveer Corner for citations. The interest rate and resulting totals on this page are your own inputs and this tool's estimate, not an official government figure — always confirm your actual payout through your unit's records section before making financial plans around it.
